Dimm Slots 1 And 2 Not Working

A0 + A1 are not being recognized, regardless of what config I use. Following the recommended layout for slots does not help. (If I only had 1 dimm, then sure, I’d be fine - but I have 6, and want to have 8). The 1 dimm ECC I’ve bought is merely for troubleshooting. Whilst there is indeed a recommended slot, it should work in any slot. If that works, try booting off of only one DIMM, and moving it across the slots to make sure each slot is working. If that works, check for and apply any BIOS updates. If there’s no updates, make sure all of the DIMMs are installed, boot up, open PowerShell, and run the following.Dimm Slots 1 And 2 Not Working AnymoreHi guys, I recently bought 3 more sticks of RAM (6GB) from Newegg to upgrade onto my computer. So I mixed the RAM sticks up a bit, trying to see if any combination would work, and the finally I got it to work in the first and third RAM slot. I need help as to why I can’t seem to add more RAM. *DIMM fault LED is flashing (amber): At least one of the DIMMs in this DIMM pair has reported 24 CEs within a 24-hour period or a UE (uncorrectable error). See FIGURE 2-1 and FIGURE 2-2 for the locations of the Remind button and LEDs on the motherboard. FIGURE 2-1 DIMMs and LEDs on Motherboard (X4150 and X4250) FIGURE 2-2.
*This worked for me! I have now got 2/4 slots working (previously only 1/4 was working!:@). I’m guessing that the other two slots will also work but will need a bit more rigorous cleaning. But currently am happy that I got at least one out of the three that were not detecting cards at all to function!
